BPS Weekly Family Message: Re-Enrollment, Food Pickup, and More

Dear Breakthrough Families, 

As we approach the holiday break and the end of the year, we have some important updates and key deadlines for you. Please read each one so you have all the information you need as we head into break next week.

Re-Enrollment for All Existing Families: All enrolled families in grades K-7 need to complete your re-enrollment forms to keep your child’s / children’s spot(s) for the upcoming school year. This important process will begin on January 18th. You will have two weeks to complete this process online or by phone. This process is very important so we can reserve your spot when new families start applying.

Early Enrollment for Kindergarten and New Families: If you know any family or friends who will be looking to enroll their child for the upcoming school year, please let them know that our Early Application portal will be open on January 4th. We will be hosting an Early Enrollment Virtual Info Session for Families on January 21st, 2020. All details and signup information will be located at: breakthroughschools.org/enroll

School At Home Supply Pickup: We are finalizing plans for a safe drive-up supply pick up at all campuses on January 11th and 12th for the upcoming semester.  Please keep an eye out for a communication from your scholar's school with specific details.

Food Pickup:

The last day to pick up 5-day meal kits before winter break will be Friday, Dec. 18th from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM at our Preps Cliffs campus (1417 E 36th Street 44114).

There is no meal pick up at any of the Breakthrough locations during the weeks of Dec. 21st and Dec. 28th. However, all Breakthrough families are welcome to go to any CMSD high school location for meals on Dec. 22nd and Dec. 29th. More information can be found in the flyer attached here. 

We will resume meal pick up at the Breakthrough schools the week of Jan. 4th with a modified pick-up schedule. Just a reminder, you may go to any location that is convenient for you. It does not necessarily have to be the school your child attends! 

Food Pickup Schedule:

  • Tues Jan. 5th: pick up at the Citizens Southeast campus (15700 Lotus Dr. 44128) from 10:00 AM – 1:30 PM
  • Weds. Jan. 6th: pick up at the Citizens East campus (12523 Woodside Ave. 44108) from 10:00 AM – 1:30 PM
  • Thurs. Jan 7th: pick up at the Preps Willard campus (9401 Willard Ave. 44102) from 10:00 AM – 1:30 PM
  • Fri. Jan. 8th: pick up at the Preps Woodland Hills campus (9201 Crane Ave. 44105) from 10:00 AM – 1:30 PM
