Dear Breakthrough Families,
I hope you are having a great start to your school year! Welcome back to all our returning families, and welcome to all our new families! We are now serving nearly 3,500 K-8 students across our citywide family of 11 schools in Cleveland.
For those of you I haven’t met yet, I wanted to take a moment and introduce myself: I’m Kareemah Williams, and I’m the new Director of Community Engagement & Enrollment at Breakthrough Schools. I have been involved with Breakthrough since the beginning – my two children started at Citizens Academy way back when J (Today my son is a junior in college studying marketing and finance and my daughter is a sophomore studying psychology and dance!).
If there is anything I can do to be helpful, please let me know. Information about getting involved, details about ways to support your school through advocacy, or simply answer any question you have. All of my contact info is below.
I do have one favor to ask of you: If you know anyone who might be interested in attending one of our schools – either immediately, or next year – please let them know that we have space and accept enrollments year-round. We currently have the capacity to serve about 150 more students across all our schools (with the most room in 2nd & 6th grade!).
