BPS CLAE Family Update – Important Leadership Updates

Dear CLAE Families,
Today I am writing to you to celebrate Principal Franklin, who will be moving on to the next step of his professional journey next year. Since joining Breakthrough first as a dean, and then as the founding Principal of Citizens Leadership Academy East, Principal Franklin has made an immeasurable impact on our community since Day 1. The reach of Principal Franklin’s influence on so many of us — scholars and staff alike — will be felt for years to come.
While it is never exciting to share the news of a wonderful leader moving on, we know it is part of everyone’s personal and professional journey to tackle new challenges and to grow in their own right. Among so many things, Principal Franklin leaves us with a steady banner to carry forward, woven into the culture of CLA East: Education Is Urgent.
In moments like this, new leaders are given an opportunity to rise to the occasion. With a deep collection of talent to draw from, we are currently working through our established plans and process for selecting and welcoming a new principal to the CLA East community for the upcoming school year. In the meantime, please join me in wishing Principal Franklin well in the next step of his professional journey.
