CLA Families,

We have had a successful second week of school! This week our 6th and 7th grade students continued their Bee Mini-Expedition; they are creating letters to city officials and honeycomb shelves to add to the school wall culture. The 8th grade students have been working to put together an exemplar Community Meeting. They will be presenting these tomorrow to all students. Please continue checking the website for pictures and video clips!

As we move into the end of the week and next week we have a few important announcements:

  1. On Friday, August 29, we will be having a $1.00 Dress Down Day to support the Girls Volleyball Team! Students are NOT permitted to wear the following items:

    3. Profanity or Inappropriate logos/diagrams
    4. Low cut/mid-riff shirts
    5. Excessive jewelry
    6. Pajamas/Sweatpants

Students who wear the above mentioned items will not be permitted to attend class until appropriate clothes are brought to school.

  1. Curriculum Night will be held on Wednesday, September 10. More information will be coming early next week; however, we want to ensure this date is on your calendar!
