Weekly Family Update 5/14/18

Greetings CLA-EAST Families!

Yes, it is true…there are only nine days of school left. As many others before it, this week has its share of exciting events that will have us all working hard all week long. Everyone is hard at work completing final products for our spring Celebration of Learning. With products being completed in six classrooms, our scholars have their work cut out for themselves. The spring trip to Geneva Hills is next Tuesday and Wednesday. On Monday and Tuesday, of this week, I will be meeting with scholars individually to update them on their eligibility status of attending the trip.

Celebration of Learning is Thursday, May 17th at 4:00 pm. We will begin in the gym with programming. If you have not already done so, please rsvp at CLA-EAST Spring Celebration of Learning.

I also wanted to pre-notify all families to expect summer work. Scholars will each receive a book to read and math packet to complete.

As always, you are invited to join us for crew and community meetings on Friday. If you are interested in joining us, please call the schools main office.

Yours in Education,

Ricardo Franklin, Sr.

Founding Principal

School Culture Updates

With only 4 days until the Spring Celebration of Learning, scholars and their crew leaders will spend time learning tips about public speaking and practice presenting their work to peers.
