Weekly Family Update_04/23/18

Greetings CLA-EAST Families!

The last two weeks of testing have been incredible. Next week we continue the testing season with the NWEA math, as well as the SLO for science and social studies. We know the testing load is heavy but also know how well we’ve prepared and confident that they’ll do. I’d like to thank all of the parents who showed their support by coming to the school and helping out during the test prep rally, the high-five tunnel, and the dads who came to motivate young people to stay focused. We still need your support. Please email me a special note of encouragement to share with our scholars and staff each day before testing this week. Your words of encouragement may be the difference between someone scoring proficient or accelerated.

The testing schedule this week goes as follows:

  • Monday – no test
  • Tuesday – Social Studies, SLO
  • Wednesday – Math, NWEA
  • Thursday – Science, SLO
  • Friday – testing make-up day

Email letters of encouragement to rfranklin@citizensleadership.org

Yours in Education,

Ricardo Franklin, Sr.

Founding Principal
