Locked or disabled Chromebook

Has your Chromebook been locked or disabled? Here's how to tell and what to do:

In the image above, the scholar’s Chromebook says “This device (SN:…) was locked by the breakthroughschools.org administrator. This means the device has been disabled. Please return it to your school’s director of operations. If this device has been found outside of a school, please call 216-456-2086 x4357.”

Please call the Breakthrough Call Center at (216) 539-2100 to report this issue. Please be prepared to read out the asset tag (the “sticker” on the Chromebook). The asset tag could be located on the bottom of the Chromebook, or inside (visible when the screen is open).
