Midtown gives scholars opportunities to explore technology, engineering, and creative problem-solving through hands-on experiences that connect what they learn in school to the world beyond the classroom.
Code & Create
Midtown is home to the first 5G Innovative Learning Lab of its kind in the country, giving scholars access to emerging technology right inside their school.
Beginning in grades 5–8, scholars use the lab to explore coding, robotics, and virtual reality. Middle schoolers also take dedicated lab classes and participate in coding events, building technology skills with applications beyond the classroom.
Engineer Something Real
Through a partnership with Motogo, Midtown scholars work alongside engineers to build real motorcycle engines.
That experience gives scholars a chance to see engineering in action and connect hands-on building with the kinds of technical skills used in real careers.

Tangible Growth
Midtown uses iReady and M-Class screeners, unit tests, and benchmark tests in grades 3–8 to monitor progress.

Two teachers in K–2 classrooms provide more support, safety, and personalized feedback. Caring teachers build strong relationships and provide personalized support so every scholar stays on track.
