Dear CLA Parents, Guardians and Families,
I hope that your student has had a great start to their eighth grade year at Citizens Leadership Academy. In order to ensure that we are all on the same page, I will send home monthly letters and calendars to keep you up to speed on important dates and deadlines concerning your student and his/her high school placement. Below you will find important information about the high school process.
One-on-One High School Meetings: If you have not yet scheduled a time to meet with me to discuss high school options for your student, please contact me as soon as possible. I would like to meet with all families before the high school fair.
Breakthrough High School Fair: This event will take place Thursday, September 4th from 5:30-7:30pm at The Intergenerational School (TIS). I have included a flyer with specific information. Attendance is strongly encouraged for all eighth graders and their families. This is an opportunity for students to learn more about our partner high schools and to meet representatives from the schools.
Open-houses: Take time with your student to research the dates and times of open houses at the schools your student is interested in attending. Before attending the open houses take some time to research the schools.
