Ready Set Go 2019: Summer Week 7
Hello families!
The start of school is only a little over a week away. The school day at most of our schools ends between 3:15 and 3:30. If you are working, in school yourself, or for whatever reason need care for your child during the hours after the school day ends and before you can pick them up there are some after-care options that some of our families use.
Rainy Institute provides engaging arts education programming to children of all ages. Students are able to discover and develop their talents in dance, drama, music, and visual arts after school, on weekends, and over the summer. Contact 216-881-1766 for more information.
Open Doors Academy’s Middle School Programming includes mentoring, opportunities to complete their homework and receive academic support through small group evening tutoring, service- learning projects, and enrichment programming. They also incorporate project-based learning experiences, team-building exercises, mindfulness practice, service learning, and field trips. Open Doors Academy is currently available at our Cliffs and Woodland Hills campuses. Call 216-229-1900 for details.
Citizens Academy schools offer an on-site before and after-care program for their kindergarten – 5th grade scholars. The program is structured as an enrichment program providing diverse age appropriate activities including, visual and performing arts, crafts, games, tutoring, homework time, and sports.
Many of our schools offer after school activities. The offerings vary by campus and by semester. Some examples include basketball, cheerleading, volleyball, tutoring, and robotics. Please check with your campus to find out what is being offered this semester.
