Laurel School

Laurel School is a nationally recognized, college preparatory, independent day school for girls, Kindergarten through Grade 12, with a coeducational Pre-Primary program. Our commitment to innovation and the best practices in girls’ education, informed by data-driven research, as well as to interdisciplinary, experiential and community-based learning, is what sets us apart.  Outside the classroom, Laurel students have the opportunity to participate in 11 varsity sports, 7 junior varsity sports and one club sport. We have strong academic co-curricular offerings, including our nationally ranked Speech and Debate Team, Robotics Team and Model UN. Laurel students run 27 different clubs that meet throughout the school year. In our efforts to build a just an inclusive world, Laurel has a commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB). Laurel's DEIB curriculum provides students with an understanding of how they can contribute to creating a just and inclusive world. In the Upper School, our Signature Programming, which consists of the Capstone Experience, Protege Internships, Passport Travel opportunities, Dream. Dare. Do.
