About Our High School
Hershey Montessori School is one of the first schools in the world to offer a complete continuum of Montessori education that most closely replicates Dr. Maria Montessori’s vision, including the option of a residential program for adolescents on a working farm.
The Huntsburg Campus educates students from 7th to 12th grade. It sits on 97 beautiful acres, which includes a working farm, bioshelter, and environmentally sustainable classrooms based upon developmental needs of adolescents.
Our curriculum integrates core academics, creative arts, physical education, entrepreneurism, and leadership opportunities. Students learn in seminar classes, and from external professionals and specialists who present key lessons and provide student’s evaluation of their project-based studies. Student engagement is deepened through opportunities to authentically develop problem solving competencies using real-life challenges as part of their curriculum. Students are well prepared for college and careers due to the academic and personal skills they develop though this experiential education.
