Breakthrough took a deep dive into how we shaped our 2024-2025 objectives by conducting a thorough assessment to confirm we’re on the right track. This includes implementing essential changes to guarantee our schools are performing at the highest level for the benefit of our scholars. The strides we made last year in academic achievement, student engagement, and innovative learning approaches have fueled our drive to push even further this year. By building on the successes of the past, we are igniting the curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking of our students, empowering them to reach new heights.

Breakthrough Public Schools may end at 8th grade, but its support for all scholars continues past that benchmark.Â
A strong foundation in K-8 education opens doors to high-quality high schools, which connect to broader possibilities for college and post-secondary education, leading to a wide pool of career choices and a stronger local workforce.
However, education alone is not enough, as many students face obstacles and barriers to achieving success. The Beyond Breakthrough Alumni Success Network is vital to making this trajectory a reality for our students. Breakthrough has been rooted in the Cleveland community for over ten years, providing high-quality education and serving thousands of K-8 scholars. While BPS has always been committed to the success of our alumni, we have now built a robust Alumni Success Network to fully support our graduates.
